Have you ever seen a sick monkey?

Monkeys really do eat bananas. When you visit the zoo, bananas are what they are eating and peels will be laying around. I do not remember ever seeing a monkey eat anything other than bananas. Just think about all the energy they seem to have, and I have never seen a sick monkey at the zoo. It makes you think about their nutritional well being. It must be pretty good.
Bananas are high in fiber and even though they have 3 different types of sugar they are natural sugars, not refined. This fruit gives you a high dose of energy. Eaten before exercising, a banana can give you an extra burst of energy to run that extra mile. Bananas have many health benefits such as helping relieve morning sickness, combat depression, and cures hangovers. They can also protect against blindness, diabetes, kidney cancer, and osteoporosis.
Bananas are high in pectin which aids in digestion. This also makes them a natural antacid and gives relief from acid reflux and heartburn. They are the only raw fruit that can aid in relieving stomach ulcers by coating the lining of the stomach against corrosive acids and causes no distress to the ulcers.
The potassium from only one banana can make you smarter and more alert. Maybe this would make a great breakfast for kids before they head out to school. Add a little peanut butter for protein.
Bananas can aid in quitting smoking. They contain high levels of B-vitamins as well as potassium and magnesium which helps with the effects of smoking withdrawal.
My favorite way to eat a banana is mashed up with chunky peanut butter spread on a fresh soft piece of bread. I know whole wheat bread has more health benefits, but I like white bread for a banana and peanut butter sandwich.
Check out this sight for even more benefits from this monkey food.
